Consultation Booking Terms

We want booking studio time to be straightforward. These terms explain how to request a session, when a booking can be made, how payment is arranged, and what happens if plans change. Please read them before sending us a booking enquiry.

Please book at least 24 hours in advance

Same-day bookings are not accepted. Send your request at least 24 hours before your intended start time. All sessions remain subject to availability and confirmation by NOOH & Nest.

01 / GENERAL TERMS

About These Terms

These Consultation Booking Terms apply to enquiries and bookings for studio hire and rehearsal space arranged through NOOH & Nest. They should be read alongside the service information and any booking details agreed directly with us.

Our services provide access to an indoor space intended for individual dance practice and group rehearsals. The studio may include mirrors, suitable flooring and sound equipment, subject to the facilities available for the relevant session.

A request submitted through our website is an enquiry, not an automatic reservation. A booking is confirmed only after we have checked availability and communicated acceptance of the requested arrangements.

These terms take effect immediately upon publication. Any specific arrangements agreed in writing for an individual booking will be read together with these terms. Where there is a genuine conflict, the specific arrangement will apply only to the extent that it has been expressly agreed and is lawful.

02 / ADVANCE NOTICE

Booking in Advance

All studio bookings must be requested at least 24 hours before the intended start time. We do not accept same-day bookings, including requests made earlier on the day of the proposed session.

For example, if you would like to book a session starting at 3:00 pm on Friday, your request must be submitted no later than 3:00 pm on Thursday. The requested time is not reserved until NOOH & Nest confirms it.

What to Include in Your Request

  • Your preferred date and start time.
  • The duration you would like to hire the studio.
  • The expected number of participants, where applicable.
  • A brief description of the intended rehearsal or practice.
  • Any questions about mirrors, flooring, sound equipment or access.

Sending a request within the required notice period does not guarantee availability. We may need additional information before deciding whether the requested session can be accommodated.

If your preferred time is unavailable, we may suggest an alternative. You are free to accept the alternative or request another available date. Please do not attend the studio until your booking has been confirmed.

03 / CONFIRMATION

How Your Booking Is Confirmed

Once we receive your enquiry, we will review the requested date, session length, intended use and any relevant practical requirements. We aim to respond within five working days, although response times may vary during busy periods.

We may contact you by email or telephone to clarify details or discuss an alternative time. Please check that your contact details are correct so that we can get back to you.

Confirmation Details

A booking should be treated as confirmed only when we have communicated acceptance of the agreed date, start time, duration and applicable price. If payment is required in advance, the payment deadline and any relevant instructions will also be communicated before the booking is finalised.

If you have not received confirmation, please contact us before making travel arrangements. An automated acknowledgement, if one is sent, only confirms that your enquiry has been received; it does not by itself confirm the reservation.

Please keep your confirmation message for reference. If any details appear incorrect, let us know within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation so that we can review them before the session.

04 / PAYMENT

Prices and Payment Arrangements

The prices displayed on our service pages are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and relate to the stated booking duration. A one-hour booking and a multi-hour session are different booking options; please check the description and price of the service you select.

The final amount payable will be confirmed when the service requirements and requested time slot have been reviewed. If any additional charges apply, they must be explained before you agree to proceed.

How Payment Is Arranged

Payment arrangements are confirmed after the booking details have been reviewed. Following confirmation of the studio hire requirements, customers will receive payment instructions and relevant booking information through our official communication channels.

Depending on the arrangements agreed for a particular session, payment may be requested before the booking or by another agreed deadline. The accepted payment method, payment recipient and due date will be communicated before payment is made. Available methods may vary according to the booking arrangement.

Unless a specific online payment facility is clearly presented during the booking process, submitting an enquiry through this website does not itself take payment or complete a financial transaction. Customers should follow only the payment instructions provided through our verified contact channels.

Payment Deadlines and Booking Status

If advance payment is required, the payment deadline will be stated in the booking communication. A provisional time slot may be released if the deadline passes without the agreed payment being received and no alternative arrangement has been confirmed.

Please contact us if you believe a payment has been made but have not received an acknowledgement within two working days. We will review the details using the information available.

Refunds

Where a refund is due under the agreed booking terms or applicable law, we will explain the next steps and return the relevant amount using the original payment method where reasonably possible. Refunds will normally be initiated within 14 calendar days after eligibility and the amount have been confirmed, unless a different period is required by law or agreed for the particular case. The time taken for the funds to appear may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

05 / YOUR SESSION

Arrival and Studio Use

Please arrive at the agreed time and allow yourself enough time to prepare for your session. If arrival instructions have been provided, follow them carefully. Access arrangements will be communicated as part of the booking process where necessary.

Your booking covers the agreed studio space and duration. Mirrors, suitable flooring and sound equipment may be available as part of the studio setting, but any particular equipment requirement should be checked before your visit.

  • Use the room only for the activity agreed when the booking was accepted.
  • Keep entrances, walkways and movement areas clear.
  • Handle studio equipment and fittings with reasonable care.
  • Keep music and other sound at a reasonable level in accordance with the studio’s instructions.
  • Finish within the booked period unless an extension has been agreed in advance.
  • Leave the room in a reasonable condition for the next user.

Additional time is subject to availability and must be agreed before the original booking ends. We cannot guarantee that an extension will be possible.

06 / CHANGES

Rescheduling and Cancellations

We understand that plans can change. If you need to amend or cancel a booking, please contact us by email as soon as possible and include your confirmed session details.

Customer Requests

Please request a change or cancellation at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Requests made with less notice will still be reviewed, but we cannot guarantee that a change or refund will be available.

A change to the date, start time, duration or intended use is subject to availability and written confirmation. A requested change is not effective until we confirm the revised arrangements.

Cancellation and Refund Review

  • More than 48 hours before the session: you may request a cancellation or alternative time, subject to the agreed booking terms and applicable law.
  • Between 24 and 48 hours before the session: we will review the request and explain whether a refund, credit or alternative booking can be offered.
  • Less than 24 hours before the session, or failure to attend: a refund may not be available where the agreed terms and applicable law permit this.

These timeframes describe our standard approach to requests and do not remove any mandatory rights that apply to your booking. Any cancellation charge must be fair, communicated in advance and consistent with applicable law.

Changes Made by the Studio

If we need to cancel a confirmed booking, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. We will explain the available options, which may include an alternative time or a refund for a service that cannot be provided, subject to the circumstances and applicable law.

07 / CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Using the Studio Responsibly

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the intended activity is suitable for the booked space and that everyone attending understands the arrangements. Please tell us in advance about practical requirements that may affect whether the studio is suitable for your planned session.

Customers should follow reasonable instructions relating to access, equipment, room capacity and the safe use of the facilities. Any damage caused by a customer or member of their group may be reviewed in light of the circumstances, the available evidence and applicable law.

Please do not use the studio for activities outside the agreed purpose or bring additional equipment that may damage the room without obtaining prior agreement. If you notice a problem with the room or equipment, contact us promptly so that it can be assessed.

Where the booking is made for a group, the person making the enquiry should ensure that the confirmed time, permitted use and relevant instructions are shared with the participants.

08 / SERVICE LIMITATIONS

What the Booking Includes

NOOH & Nest provides studio hire for dance practice and rehearsal. Unless expressly agreed in writing, a booking does not include dance tuition, choreography, personal coaching, event management, performance services or technical support beyond the facilities confirmed for the session.

Descriptions of mirrors, flooring and sound equipment refer to the intended studio facilities. Customers should confirm any specific requirements before booking rather than assume that a particular room layout, equipment model or additional facility will be available.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide the agreed space and facilities. If a material feature cannot be provided as confirmed, please contact us so that we can discuss an appropriate solution in accordance with the booking arrangement and applicable law.

09 / LIABILITY

Liability and Important Limitations

Customers are responsible for deciding whether the studio and its available facilities are suitable for their intended activity. Dance and movement practice should be approached with appropriate care, and participants should take account of their own abilities and the nature of the movements they choose to perform.

To the extent permitted by law, NOOH & Nest is not responsible for loss arising solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control, or for loss caused by a customer’s failure to follow clearly communicated studio instructions. Any assessment will depend on the actual circumstances and applicable legal duties.

Customers should take reasonable care of their own belongings. Personal items should not be left unattended, and valuable items should be kept secure. Any report concerning lost or damaged belongings will be reviewed on its individual facts.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where exclusion or restriction is prohibited by law. In particular, these terms do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Where the law permits a limitation of liability, it will apply only to the extent that it is fair, reasonable and enforceable in the circumstances. Nothing in this section removes any statutory rights that apply to a customer.

10 / UNFORESEEN EVENTS

Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

Occasionally, circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect a confirmed session. Examples may include a serious building issue, an unexpected interruption to essential utilities, severe weather affecting access or an emergency that makes the studio unavailable.

If such an event affects your booking, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and explain the available options. Depending on the circumstances, this may include rescheduling the session or returning a payment for a service that cannot be provided.

This section does not remove obligations that remain applicable under the law, and it does not give either party an unrestricted right to disregard an agreed booking.

11 / SUPPORT

Questions and Complaints

If something about your booking has not gone as expected, please contact us by email and explain the issue. Include your booking date, the agreed session time and any relevant correspondence so that we can identify the matter.

We aim to acknowledge a complaint within five working days and provide a substantive response within 15 working days where reasonably possible. If more time is needed to review the circumstances, we will let you know and provide an updated response timeframe.

Raising a complaint does not remove any rights or remedies available under applicable law.

12 / UPDATES

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when our services, booking arrangements or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page and will take effect immediately upon publication.

Changes will not automatically rewrite the specific arrangements already agreed for a confirmed booking. Where a change needs to apply to an existing arrangement, we will communicate with the customer and obtain any agreement required by law.

Please review this page before making a new booking. If you have a question about how a particular term applies to your session, contact us before confirming the arrangements.
